Dr. Penny Wong is an Austin, Texas native and earned her BS in Biochemistry and minor in Sociology from Southwestern University and a Doctorate of Dentistry Degree with Research Honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Wong has volunteered with many local organizations such as the St. David’s Foundation, the San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic, Manos de Cristo, and the Capital Area Dental Foundation Community Days. She has been nominated as Greater Austin’s New Dentist of the Year for both 2023 and 2024 and is a Fellow of Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and working towards her Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

When she’s not busy helping others maintain healthy smiles and volunteering, Dr. Wong can be found spending quality time with her family, friends, her pup Walnut, playing board games, biking on the Burke-Gillman Trail and swimming in Lake Washington – no moment is ever too slow for this active outdoor enthusiast!
